I need to do a lot of filling in (bass, drums, maybe vocals, keyboard pads), but the only part I’m really worried about is the percussion. From a couple hours of focused observation, it doesn’t appear to be very complicated (but we’ll see).
It’s still possible to hear a very complete musical idea in these versions because they are all melody-driven, for which only one lead instrument is necessary (one or two lead guitars, in these). The only exception is “Song for Mom” which I originally wrote as a fingerpicking song, but I’m changing it to piano.
Leaving for work now, so I’ll have to troubleshoot the links later.
