I don’t actually believe that women are evil, but they make it very hard sometimes.
A new study finds that husbands’ happiness depends on their wives’ happiness.
“The authors did not find a significant association between spouse’s marital appraisals and own well-being. However, the association between husband’s marital quality and life satisfaction is buoyed when his wife also reports a happy marriage, yet flattened when his wife reports low marital quality.”
This isn’t the first study to discover a dependency on wife happiness for husband happiness, but not the reverse (i.e., wife happiness dependent on husband happiness).
“Happy wife, happy life.” Happy husband, who gives a shit? Certainly not his blushing bride.
So, why ask constantly ask about someone’s feelings when you don’t care? This may not be merely the instinctual drive to confirm that a man is committed, but rather suggests a measure of ruthless calculation. I’d imagine that a man’s answer (and concomitant body language) goes a long way toward explaining the woman’s behavior in the near future, as she uses the knowledge to gently coerce and manipulate him in the characteristically feminine way.
Now, off the rails for a bit…
If I understand correctly, Heaviside claims that the success of the feminine imperative would actually blot out the universe from existence because the reproductive success of increasingly feminine social parasites (both men and women tending to feminine behavior) would breed out masculine idealism. If this idealism were to disappear, there could be no awareness of a tree falling in the forest, and therefore it would not happen. This may be an impossible scenario in practice, since we assume that no civilization of social parasites can support itself, but it certainly seems we’re heading that way presently. More precisely, no closed system can remain ordered without the continuous injection of constructive energy from the outside.
Just another tiny piece of the r/k puzzle, I think.
