Take a moment to consider the psychology of a person who, driven by intense anxiety, decides that the way to fix their problems is to shoot at random cars on the highway. Maybe it started as racial neuroses that got out of hand. Doesn’t really matter. I doubt they have really thought through the likely police response. There was once a death row inmate so mentally disabled, he saved the pie from his last meal to eat after the execution. That’s the level of brain function we’re talking about.
Then take a moment to consider the recent shooters, and the fact that there are apparently four of these guys who’ve snapped at the same time, independently, in four different states. And they all came up with the same brilliant idea: shoot at random cars on the highway.
