Sprint this Saturday 1-4 PM EST, and a poll: would you want your kid(s) to be aspie or NT?

Same rules as before, don’t forget to say what you’ll be working on in the comments of this post to get full credit. The religious culture war discussion is closed to further members but if you participate in this sprint you can join the sexual culture war group as either a doer or a watcher, which will begin the following Saturday.

Since there’s nothing else to say, I’ll pad this post out with a question I’ve been curious about for a while. Given the choice, would you want your son(s) and/or daughter(s) to be aspergic or neurotypical, and why?

Re: The sprint, presuming I can pin Boneflour down for that time slot I want to finish the “Legend of Tex” quote generator that we started last time. I found my backup of Vault-Co so quote mining should be much quicker.

Re: The poll, I’m a bit torn. In the simplest analysis, I’d want my kids to be NT so they’d have a better shot at being happy. On the other hand, I’m not sure I’d know how to parent them or if we’d be able to connect as well as if they were my breed of odd (which could impact their happiness and sexual development). All in all I think I’d choose NT leaning a bit toward aspie, like my siblings.

It might take more than a day to finish, but might have figured some of the issues out with the images. Count me in.

  3. Koanic says:

You shouldn’t publicly state what you would want your kids to be, because they might read it and realize that they’ve disappointed you, even if they haven’t.

I just want my kids to be happy. And if I ever see them sad, I’m going to tell them I wish I never had any.

  4. Lizard King says:

Oh dear, doing this again? Too much productivity for me. I suppose I’ll do the same as last time.

I would want my children to be neither aspie nor NT.
Something like me would be OK, and I guess I am somewhere on the aspie spectrum, but not too far along it? Dunno, you tell me.
Reason: I want them to be a truth-seeker, and therefore open to knowing Jehovah.
I also think they’re better-off with a high IQ than otherwise.

I want my kids to be black, brown, yellow, Indian, Arab, Eskimo, and all the colors of the rainbow, for we are One Race, the Human Race.

    :^)

More seriously, I’d want my kids to basically be NT like their pops but without my ur-psychoticism and abstract insightfulness and general weirdness and whatnot. Though I’d probably actually prefer them to be T-backs so they could be more innocent and less intrinsically redpilled than me.

haha, goes well with “Those are my principles, and if you don’t like them… well, I have others.” Really pluralistic principles, “today I am going to act out my jewish side, tomorrow my asian side, next week I can feel it right now feelz pretty white”

Nothing wrong with attacking a problem from different angles tho, problem is the problem is going to be themselves. Women and feminine men are experts at creating new dimensions of suffering for themselves, fill one up create another repeat forever/until suicide.

“Now I am become Sape(thal+deni+erectus+sape-double-sape+melon+sc), the destroyer of worlds’. Literally.

3 boys and 3 grand-kids, so far. You’ll be lucky if one is like you. The others never know what you’re talking about.
