circle face-placement werks.
I rate it 10/10, looking forward to the next gazillion strips

Thank you, that webcomic addiction from college days has turned out more useful than I would have guessed at the time.

He makes a different flavor of mistakes, but they’re all blockheads imho.
>Also really liked that red ❗
What can I say? It was a spontaneous act of genius. *self-fanning intensifies*
>I love your series
Me too. I haven’t had this much fun blogging since the woopoasting days.

The archetypes-as-hieroglyphs meme is possibly the most important part of the whole thing, as it enables a more abstract sort of engagement with them. But I’m hoping to shoehorn some bigger ideas into the story as well.
>I rate it 10/10, looking forward to the next gazillion strips
Thanks, I’m only planning on about 100-200 but these things have a life of their own. Beyond the planned storyline, there’s an unlimited space for one-off jokes about how different types interact with each other (introducing hybrids will open up a lot of this).
To quote a famous man at Bethesda; it just works,
And it does, sort of.
It continues, at any rate.
A fellow at the office who knows nothing of Edenism, compared Blockheads to XKCD. He was amazed it was possible to be even more minimalist than XKCD.
Entertaining. Took me a while to figure out what X-O on that one circle was supposed to mean.
PROOF THAT ANIME HAS BECOME REAL
Might test two small font x’s on the dead sphere instead of one X for readability.
also i think just one stage prop per panel is enough, as with the death machine or whatever that thingamajing was. i assume you saw my coloring edit, and it of course runs the risk of something called “clutter”. “it might work” in panels with a lot of stuff already, but then it becomes kind of wierd to break the running theme.
Sure, I’ll try the two small x idea.
> i assume you saw my coloring edit,
Are you referring to your well-developed OC Sonic universe comic in Gimp?
Also, “edgenear” is a great fucking word man.
Truly stunning. So brave.
“Are you referring to your well-developed OC Sonic universe comic in Gimp?”
no that is another completely unrelated original work I sto… am working on. Got a lot more in the pipeline coming out as we speak.
