These figures are all taken from chapter 4 of the book iGen by Jean Twenge. Trust me when I say chapter 5 is even more bleak. As Jonathon Haidt pointed out in the podcast with Joe Rogan, these are unfortunately not Millenial problems that will fade with time. Some of them are mirror opposites: Millenials are characterized by unrealistic optimism, whereas Gen Z is characterized by paralyzing FOMO.

would be interesting to see a list of what is the most difficult to wean oneself off And how that correlates with IQ (“good” genes vs “bad” genes) and which ones are the most detrimental.
