Behelit in Avengers: Infinity War

Ophiuchus and Kensuimo both mentioned this, and I should have included this image in the original post to show that there’s even an eclipse:

This scene is when Thanos has just received the soul stone in return for sacrificing his favorite daughter in a pagan rite. This gives his behelit myth the double symbolic meaning of sacrificing his innocence. It’s practically a copy/paste of the image of Griffith activating his behelit while sitting in ankle-deep water:

(Kensuimo also pointed out that it’s just Infinity War, not Infinity Wars.)

Maybe do this later?

  1. aiaslives says:

    Behelit in Rick and Morty:
Sacrificing his family for his multidimensional council and / or power is what every Rick has ever done

However Rick and Morty Prime actually are the exceptions. But one of the sacrificial Morties turns out super-smart and super-evil and actually runs the council of the Ricks, which is powered by the energy of Morties as their liver is eaten.

    I already feel smarter
