A question for women, and other responsibility-avoidant personalities

Which election? Any election, anywhere – but perhaps one in particular: the US. As usual, this election is being regarded as the most important ever, different from any before, etc. But now, in 2020, we know that on the contrary this is the least important election in the history of the world.

Why so trivial? Simply because we now know for sure (it isn’t just a theory any more) that the whole world is being run by a Global Establishment for whom elections are no barrier to doing what They want.

After all, a supposedly radically-different, supposedly political-Outsider, supposedly-nationalist and common-sensical – apparently (by their hysterical reaction) genuinely anti-Leftist US President [Trade Mark: Most Powerful Individual in the World] was (allegedly) ‘in power’ when that nation, along with every other in the world, succumbed to an international, extreme Leftist coup.

“What about the election?”

Here’s the question for you accountability-allergic types out there: If it actually turned out women had more power and influence than you imagine and your destiny, and the destinies of the people around you, depended on your willingness to make good choices and overcome seemingly impossible difficulties…how would you even tell the difference?

  1. Rolling stone says:

Which one is making the decisions?

  2. OnTopicDiah says:

    Warrior: MT
    King: MM
    Lover: TM
    Magician: TT

Not sure why it took me so long to figure that one out.

I know you needed dat daily dose of Zodiacism.

See also: Four main characters of Final Fantasy 15.

        • OnTopicdiah says:

With Ardyn as Noctis’s Shadow (Ardyn was the original Anointed King, who fell to darkness/was consumed by his Shadow. He is the Shadow of Noctis’s “King Function/Spiritual Essence” as he is the only other character in the game who can use an Armiger; etc)

          • Obadiah says:

            There’s a lot going on in FF15.

Throughout a big part of the game you keep hearing about “muh crystal of power” which is somehow powering the generic evil imperialist faction. While I was playing, I kept picturing like a big fractal-looking crystal shard thing. But then towards the end of the game when we reach the crystal, we find that it is in fact a giant egg. Specifically, it is the Egg of the King, which you immediately get sucked into, spend 10 years inside of, and emerge from fully-psychologically-integrated with perfect confidence to overthrow the evil dark-triad-people-infested* Shadow world order.

*We learn later on that the mysterious “demons” in the game are actually just people who have succumbed to the wickedness of their heart

              Spoiler alert

And with THAT you have my full interest. For a game that looks like it was designed by Justin Bieber, that sounds pretty damn woke to the BQ.

            • Obadiah says:

Like I said, there’s a lot going on in the game aesthetics-wise (despite the boy-band designs et al), and it certainly deserves itz own effortpost.

One of the first things I noticed about the villain was his massive facial humanity. Then you read the lore of the game and realize that the villain’s backstory is essentially a twist on the classic Cain/Abel story.

I do recommend the game if you have time.

            • Obadiah says:

Noctis is the Fisher King who lays down his life for the flock (Fisher King is correlated with Christ in Arthurian Legend; Noct’s ‘hobby’ in the game is literally a fishing minigame). You travel to “Gralea” late in the game to seek to the Crystal/Egg of the King.

Anyway, yeah, a lot going on.

      I am also ashamed.

The first part of my life I was under the sway of the Shadow of the Lover (Extraverted Intuition along a Sanguine Modality). This corresponds to the ‘Observation and Motivation’ phase in the above link.

The next part of my life, finding Alt-Right and Edenism, I was under the sway of the Shadow of the Magician (Introverted Thinking along a Melancholy Modality). This corresponds to the ‘Data and Details’ phase in the above link.

Now I am starting to contend with the Shadow of the Warrior (Extraverted Feeling along a Choleric Modality). This corresponds to ‘Principles and Trends’ in the above link.

Next will presumably be contending with the Shadow of the King (Unconscious Function; Introverted Sensing along a Phlegmatic Modality). This corresponds to ‘Action and Consequences’ in the above link.

This is what Jung is talking about when he talks about a person “integrating their psychological functions” over their lifetime. There are actually multiple Shadows which each correspond to the four different psychological functions, which themselves correspond to the four different “archetypes of masculinity” (or of psycho-spiritual wholeness). You seem to have moved into a different function/phase recently as evinced by the different tone and focus of your poasting.

I agree, but I’m not comfortable applying this sort of analysis until I’ve slow-boiled it for a while.

That aside, one of the bigger shames in life is the melonhead’s lack of respect for slow-boiling. Maybe they have to learn to tend a garden before the idea really takes.

      • Obadiah says:

I made a bigger post yesterday about how this has in fact been kicking around in my head for a good minute and how it ties into a larger theory; etc. but it may not have gone through due to the mysterious nature of the computer devices

    • Welcome to the First International Red Fighting Brigade of the Moscow Metropolitan in the name of Ernesto Che Guevara!” says:

      >There are actually multiple Shadows which each correspond to the four different psychological functions.

      ‘dopamine’ demons cri evrtim

      people always forget them :(

Anyway have a good Thursday night, Aeoli-senpai!
