2021 is so crazy that Mencius Moldbug wrote a readable post: https://graymirror.substack.com/p/the-great-coup-of-2021
My attempt at a TL;DR summary. AP, correct me if I’m wrong:
3 stories are being told right now. The first 2 are wrong, the third is correct.
Histrionic: The right is performing a coup to save democracy and America (despite the fact that their radicals are weak, Trump is all talk and none of them have a plan)
Hypochondriac: America is sick and needs to get rid of the right in general and Trumpers specifically since they tried to stage a coup to steal power (despite the fact that you can’t gain legitimacy just by holding a building for a period of time)
Historical: Some protesters pulled the equivalent of a fraternity prank. What will really happen is that we’ll see more clearly that we’re in a one-party system and we’re all rubes. If the left is in power, they’ll recruit their own (controlled) opposition and vice-versa for the right. Meanwhile oligarchs pull the strings of whoever happens to be in power-Zeke
Good summary, then at the end there’s a bit about how this represents a shift from anarchotyranny to regular tyranny, which will create the conditions for a proper revolution (i.e. regular tyranny doesn’t even pretend to be cool). Oh, and I think the most important takeaway of the article is that adherents of each of the three narratives consider adherents of both other narratives dangerously insane.
Mencius Moldbug/Curtis Yarvin is by far the best political writer now living. It’s totally worth carefully reading and absorbing his writing if you haven’t already. He’s basically the only person right now who really knows what he’s talking about, and even his old blog posts from a decade ago have somehow become clearer and more enlightening with age.
Surely you jest.

Nice spin on the intro. Kudos for the daring synthesis with the ”current year” reference but what truly won me over was one other little word: ”crazy”. A refreshing self reference to the iconic ”moldbug” right at the begining. This immediately captures the reader’s attention and never lets go much unlike a certain series of books. Pleasant surprise that really elevates the whole of what I consider to be the best and most satisfying reading experiece in this entire thread. Honourable mention to the subversion of expectetions, which by the way happened not once, not twice, but thrice! First you acknowledge the so called shitpost implying that you yourself adhere to what it represents. You also lead your readers to believe that the shitpost in mention is the well known opinionated piece that you yourself give a personal spin unto. Subverted once are we, the readers, as we delightfully find out that you were actually referencing to the ”deh” brach of Harry Potter related shitposting. But then you move on to call the movie series ”well crafted”! Consider my expectations subverted yet again. A statement so radical and opposed to it’s context that I’m sure it has ruffled some feathers in certain circles. The third subversion comes when by continuing to read we realise that the ”well crafted” line was actually ironic. How playful and creative of you! While the aforementioned subversion was noticeably weaker than the other two I do strongly believe and I stand by my opinion that it rightfully is weak so as to give the audience some mental space, a relief if you will, in order to recuperate and prepare for the ultimate climax tha is the ”No!” part. Once again I will have to congratulate you and this time I will use the only word that is appropriate: BRAVO!
I always suspected you were the ghost of Arsenal Gear.
He recalled the colors he had seen. Each self post, each link. They all seemed to shine a little different. He stood on many subreddits, but none were like the rest. Each glowed a different hue on his computer screen, each told a different story, each held a different history. Sometimes, sitting at the shore of an ocean on EarthPorn, or at the top of a sand dune, or in the deepest place of the cavernous subs, he would lose sight of his goal. Staring into myriad bytes and having gone through myriad too, he could not envision an end.
A long time ago, when he had been online but a few days, he had dreaded the thought of thousands more. But on those places, billions of seconds into his journey, he could barely remember life before it. It’s as if he always had existed among subreddits. It’s as if he never had been born, as if he never would end. In an infinite state of pursuit. A state that went back across the times, a state that seemed to speak to him from across the future. Everywhere he looked he saw himself. On every blue link, on every comment, on every lost user. Before he even thought of clicking another link, he was already there, and the place where he had been turned into a half-remembered dream. The ever-changing present, paradoxically stayed the same.
With his physical self deteriorated, he could not dream of returning to reality. Sitting at the desk, he saw no hope for a future. Would he crawl across the reddits until his eyes turned black? Would he scream on that uninhabitable place until his voice died out? He had jumped into the digitized atmospheres of the subreddits, he had climbed the mountains of reposts, he had wanked, he had loved, cried, laughed, feared and dreamed. He had done it all. Why then, did he have the urge to continue?
His mind was empty of humanity. He had left a little part of it on every subreddit that he lurked. He had asked the same questions for what seemed like eternity, and every time they went unanswered he lost a little of himself. Now, at the end of all things, he had lost the last part. He had ended. He lay flat on the carpet of his room, wide-eyed, on the last dirts of the reddiverse.
No photons reached his eyes, no videos, no pictures, no sounds vibrated in him, no thoughts crossed his now artificial mind.
Why don’t you like him?
There’s a large spectrum of opinions in between disliking someone and thinking they’re the greatest political writer of our age.
He’s basically a joo.
Say no more.

metal gear solid is hideo kojima’s aesthetic fixation on a group of disaffected genetic-elite types fighting against corrupt NWO kwanzstania
we’ve been fistula’d
1. Adults may prefer art to meme, but the process by which men become adults has broken down, and will deteriorate further.
2. Ugly people desire ugly art. And people get uglier every year.
The ultimate problem was and is near-irreversible biological deterioration.
Anyone who steps out of mere political thought can see that this is likely to be the twilight of being fully human as we currently think of it. Either from a ‘surpassing’ or a ‘fall’.
“not ideal, but this is the only way left for me to live”
It sounds horrible, but these are the good ol’ days right now. In opposition to Devon Stack (whom I respect), I say that the party is nowhere near over, all things considered.
Things are still sunshine happy rainbows compared to the human historical norms.
Yeah, that’s pretty scary.
Perhaps there will not be enough biological capital left to even reach the technologies that can undo our genomic deterioration, much less allow the elites to (finally!) kill us all. :)
In which case we get eternal Wiemar Republic favella until someone has the presence of mind to set the nukes off and end the charade.

(Im just being goofy. Why is everything Moldbug writes either pretty good or the most fucking retarded thing ever. Its like ZHPL every now and then retweeting BAP gay aids cancer)
>The ultimate problem was and is near-irreversible biological deterioration.
Yes dis knowledge is prerequisite for making thalpost
Moldbug’s “technical” analysis of the broader situation facing the right (which should really just be called “the moral”) and the uniparty (whose clueless, increasingly dwindling, increasingly cogdis-suffering outer party members believe to be “left wing justice fighters”) is spot on but overall falls short because it doesn’t take into acct the spiritual nature of the conflict
>Why is everything Moldbug writes either pretty good or the most fucking retarded thing ever.
I heard someone say Jewbug was “redpilled” at a San Francisco techno-bathhouse or somesuch.
(More seriously, mensch-bug probably has some sort of internal identity-oriented conflict of interest going on that probably causes his truth-orientation to misfire regularly. Non-Christian)
(Uniparty outer party: clueless individuals “fighting huwhyte supreemism”; uniparty inner party: inner-evacuated luciferianizers)
Ya’ll knew that tho
