I got the internship I wanted, so that’s two goals down this year. For lack of retrospective on this one I will now talk about kung fu until I run out of steam.
I was wondering recently why, considering that my cognitive style is overwhelmingly kinesthetic, why I’m not interested in dance or ballet or anything like that. Then it hit me: this is why martial arts has been a fascination since I was about eleven. Not only does hand-to-hand fighting come to me very naturally, but one of my autistic obsessions is to mentally catalogue and rank my favorite fight scenes from kung fu movies, anime, etc. I’m the core audience for those “Best anime fights 2022” compilations you see on YouTube. For example, one of the reasons I like the movie Hero so much is because my favorite fight of all time is the Jet Li vs. Donnie Yen scene:

The fighting game with the best martial arts feel to it is the Dead Or Alive series (NB: it also has boobies). I wish it were Mortal Kombat because I like the goofy metalocalypse aesthetic, but the characters move horizontally like they’re waist-deep in a swamp and it just kills it for me. Soul Caliber is fun to play but not much fun to watch.

That’s the invite for the staging server. There’s been a problematic new person almost every single time an invite has been posted. You can join the staging server and interact for a while. If you are a fit for the main server (which has many posters, no drama and good discussion (“no cap fr fr”, as the zoomers say)), you’ll be given an invite.
The following people are BANNED and will not be given an invite:

I.e. This isn’t the 2019 server. I deleted the 2019 server in protest of the ideologically driven uselessness of the people who created this new server.

The group was given an opportunity to save the server if 3 members wrote something useful(on alienation I think, not sure) as a group project (a page long each I think). If that simple task had been done then I was to resign as mod, leave, and thatd be that. Instead, nobody did shit besides AP and somebody else, maybe boneflour, so everyone got banned on Halloween. There was no negotiation at the time on you/fox’s part or inderstanding of simple ‘do this, x happens’ dynamics. Just bitching and “mm wont do shit”. It was baffling as fuck.
AP let me do what I did for a reason… you people couldnt even come together against a clear enemy with the easiest task imaginable to save your server.
Do you know what it was? It was simply the people who put the most work into a thing (I made the server originally, AP wrote all the good shit) asking the freeloaders and tism posters to do literally one thing towards a group goal.

It wasn’t anywhere near a page, I think the requirement was something like two sentences. The point was to ask for the smallest possible concession, because asking for more might have been an issue of low verbal fluency rather than attitude. But instead people specifically spent a bunch of time refusing to do it and bitching about it.

And yet you stuck around in the new server (under a different name!) until you were discovered.

You bluffed the first couple of times. You were also very toxic, and had your own private room in the server. And there was no organized effort against you, no one plotted or even DM’d others about it. No one liked you, hence no one did it. You were later likened to the Wormtongue to Aeoli’s Theoden and almost everyone agreed.
There also wasn’t any recognition of me or Fox as leaders of anything. I was new at the time, couldn’t even read faces. And I had nothing against you until you started being insane. We even had a few decent conversations.

Do you realize how insane that sounds? It’s the internet, it’s not your locked classroom. Took two minutes to migrate everyone after we knew Aeoli wasn’t listening.

Okay? Anyone can make one.
Right. You mean you sat back and let Aeoli do everything, belittled anyone who had the audacity to post something new and then thought it’d be cool to antagonize the very tolerant “freeloaders” even more.
Right now we’ve got many more active posters than there were in the server you started (including OG people from the forum). Even though Edenism is advertised much less now than it was before (other blogs / forums are down). We also have better discussions, ZERO drama and a zero-tolerance policy for schmucks who seek to peddle their negativity. The local retard called “OsamaKhan” (I don’t know why Aeoli tolerates him) wandered in the last time I posted an invite. I don’t think he’s even at a B1 level for english but goes around touting his big brain. Promptly kicked when he made it clear that he didn’t have the capacity for following rules, having a normal conversation or understanding when he was wrong.
I wrote this just to clear the air. Nobody cares about this conflict anymore, it’s a relic of the past and everyone has even given up on Aeoli joining anytime soon (he recently joined the secondary server and left).
It’s been almost 3 years and I’d even let you join now, but from your message it looks like you’re still stuck in the past.

It was 400 / 500 words.
It wasn’t ignored because of “low verbal fluency”. No one in the server has that. You don’t have that.
It was ignored because no one liked MM and no amount of post-hoc rationalization is going to cover the fact that making a new server was a very effective one-shot action.
We have people casually writing more than that unprompted (during discussions, even) pretty often on the main server. It was never about the lack of ability.

Thank you for saying so, although I wouldn’t expect much in the annals of history about a blog with 50 readers. But I have had a pretty outsized impact in the meme-o-sphere, which is all I really need to keep calling myself a 3rd-rate genius unironically.
True weirdness is its own sign of genius in a world where everyone uses quirkiness and hot takes to cover up the fact that they’re unthinking, M0-infected degens.
And I second Triple AAA’s sentiment. I maintain a shred of hope that history isn’t written by the WINNARZ, its written by autists who are determined enough to keep literacy and vertical transmission alive at the edges of humanity once WINNARZ discover that reading is gay and mudhuts are really where it’s at.
