Social intelligence stratification as a potential factor in the autism epidemic

High intelligence means you go to college, then the IQ shredder cities, and then don’t have any children. But there’s a nuance in this process I haven’t seen discussed elsewhere: social intelligence is vastly favored. For example, the whole brain drain thing passed me over back in my very early twenties, and I can quite comfortably assert it was for lack of social intelligence. To give you an idea, I went off to the ROTC equivalent of boot camp having never watched a movie about boot camp or read a book about it, and let’s just say it was a culture shock for someone who was expecting a bit of exercise and maybe some training for fighting wars. It was real autism hours up ins. Turns out it’s a lot of standing around and shouting in between making your bed over and over, a very odd experience if you’re expecting something else.

So anyway, that relationship didn’t work out. It serves as an extreme case in what I suspect is a general phenomenon where social intelligence is the most highly preferred sort of intelligence in the modern world, mainly (I suspect) because the punishments for breaking social rules have become so extreme over time. Here’s a quote to reiterate the point, because why not:

The most important and the most highly paid form of intelligence in America is social intelligence, the ability to get along well with other people. Fully 85 percent of your success in life is going to be determined by your social skills, by your ability to interact positively and effectively with others md to get them to cooperate with you in helping you to achieve your goals.

Learning how to develop md maintain superior human relationships can do more for your career and for your personal life than perhaps anything else you can accomplish.

The bad news is that the inability to get along with others is the primary reason for failure, frustration md unhappiness in life and work. According to one study, more than 95 percent of men and women let go from their jobs over a ten-year period were fired because of poor social skills rather than lack of competence or technical ability.

According to psychologist Sydney Jourard, most of your joy in life comes from your happy relationships with other people, and most of your problems in life come from unhappy relationships with them. Most of your problems in life are people problems.

Fortunately, you can become extremely skilled at getting along with others, and in this chapter, you will learn how.

– Brian Tracy, Maximum Achievement

So what happens to the high-IQ autistic weirdos? They don’t get vacuumed into the IQ shredder cities, so they just stay put where they are, like the old days before cognitive stratification. We know they don’t breed directly, generally speaking, but could they be contributing positively to kin selection?

One of the problems with the stratification process is that when cognitive problems come up out in the countryside no one smart enough to fix them is around anymore. In the old days if you had a thousand people in one place and the printer broke you’d have someone around with a one-in-a-thousand IQ who could make the printer go brrrr again. Nowadays that guy goes off to the IQ shredder cities and the country bumpkins just go back to the old ways of writing everything down in crayon, or more realistically just not writing anything down anymore.

But if you have a high-IQ autistic weirdo around, and the problem is serious enough that you can put up with the discomfort of talking to him, then you always have the option of your printer going brrrr again. Now, armed with your beautiful printouts and copies, you can survive and reproduce at higher rates than the other country bumpkin towns with their pathetic flyers traced with crayon on paper held up to their computer screens (disgusting!). Country towns that have a higher rate of autistic genes will produce more autistic children, therefore also produce more high-IQ autistic men, and will therefore have a smart fraction that doesn’t get hoovered up like the other country towns’ socially competent smart fractions do. So you’d expect more autism over time. There’s also a feedback effect where populations that tend higher on the autistic quotient have better relationships with the people with outlier AQ, so they’ll get better bang for their buck.

Please note this is just a factor like it says in the post title, I’m sure other things like overdiagnosis are also factors.

competence is very important to everything. autism sacrifices competence. i think my competence when relaxed is very high.

i dont participate in Dunning-Kruger like the rest of this miserable civilization!

  2. ShadoHand says:

    `then the IQ shredder cities`
Cities dont shred IQs. You have to have a high IQ to operate in a city. People with Low IQs cant deal with the complexity of living in a city. So they act out.

Most people dont understand someone walking above them lives in a different apartment because they are low IQ. You have to have a High IQ to function in a city and not mess up.

    Re: Social Skills

Again, Ive said this before: Has anyone ever compiled a list of these? No they havent. Because everyone is on the spectrum. Nobody is perfect. Theres literally no “normal”. This why the daunting undertaking of making this list must be undertaken.

Some observations. Boomers, and those in command and control positions, have some fetish for respecting your elders. When in reality in the current year, none of these people deserve an iota of respect.

      > Cities dont shred IQs. You have to have a high IQ to operate in a city.

You aren’t using the term correctly. Cities shred IQs because they depress fertility in the smart people who live in them.

      > Has anyone ever compiled a list of these?

Yes. You can start here: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=social+skills&crid=32AY9M5N8R42R&sprefix=social+skills%2Caps%2C126&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

      • ShadoHand says:

You can give me books all day. But Ive never seen “social skills” used as more than a weapon. I.e. “That guy didnt look me in the eye for the correct amount of nanoseconds. Therefore he is aspie, and I can other him.”

IMHO=(In my humble observation) there is only one social skill. Which is a basic level of human respect. Starting from there you can build up and determine whether the other ones (hand shaking, sharing cigarettes, water, food, shelter, information, goals etc) are worthy of letting other people in.

Most people are idiots though so do just enough not to “GeT cAuGht” by authorities.

Re: “You aren’t using the term correctly. Cities shred IQs because they depress fertility in the smart people who live in them.”

No Im not. Cities shred IQ because of Low IQ people living in them. If you have a High IQ, you arent going to want to have children in a city because its “dangerous” because of Low IQ people acting out from not being able to handle the complexity.

If cities were constructed properly, which they arent, theyd be thriving centers of High IQ people with large families. But because you have to worry about some idiot all day doing some stupid, your body shuts down (i.e. what we call PTSD) and doesnt want to have kids.

The term IQ Shredders comes from Spandrell. Maybe you could Google it and see what you’re missing.

          • ShadoHand says:

I did. Hes assuming Feminism is normal. Its not. If you remove Feminism, and by extension womens rights, other than in home and hearth, IQ shredders dont exist. Only the men will be working. So the IQ shredding conditions wont exist. Only men will be going to work, and the family size will increase dramatically. Plus all the “clean” conditions will still exist.

Get rid of Feminism and all these pet theories disappear.

Talking to my dad makes me want to kms.

“Again, Ive said this before: Has anyone ever compiled a list of these? No they havent. Because everyone is on the spectrum.”

I think it’s more likely that ‘social skills’ don’t exist. This nonsense is in such high demand because ~80% of the economy of the developed world is fake, gay, and retarded.

      • Aeoli Pera says:

You’re presupposing that fakeness, gayness, and retardation isn’t a decent starter list of social skills.

        • Neandercel says:

That’s the problem though, isn’t it? To the extent that we participate in such games, we perpetuate them and stain ourselves.

I think it was Cioran who said, “If you try to be a totally honest man, you’ll starve to death”. If I didn’t fear eternal damnation, I wouldn’t hesitate to kill myself.

My mother was raised in the Catholic Church. Do you think she had me baptized? Do you think she had the decency to marry a fellow Catholic or to seriously encourage her husband to formally convert? I think virtually everyone is completely full of shit, and most of those who aren’t are just too dead inside to feel any shame.

And if these so called Autists, just got together through the internet and moved to the heartland of America, wed have spaceports within the decade. Nuerocrazies are the insane ones.

  4. Neandercel says:

Aeoli, how much of perceived ‘social intelligence’ is just attractiveness? I suspect that insofar as social intelligence is real, it’s the direct result of the favorable feedback that attractive people get when they socialize.

Most men on the autism spectrum are deeply unattractive. Seems like a chicken or egg situation to me.

    • Aeoli Pera says:

      > Aeoli, how much of perceived ‘social intelligence’ is just attractiveness?

There are probably studies on that you can hunt down under the heading “halo effect”.

      According to PSL I’m somewhere between a 5 and a 6, personally.

      • Neandercel says:

“There are probably studies on that you can hunt down under the heading “halo effect”.”

Yeah, I’ve never actually seen a quantitative analysis. Might investigate one afternoon.

        “According to PSL I’m somewhere between a 5 and a 6, personally.”

        I usually get a 3 or a 4. You’ve seen me.

        • Aeoli Pera says:

Was it under this name? I apologize, I didn’t realize we had a significant chat history that I might be stepping all over.

Unrelated, here’s some Chat GPT output on the social intelligence question:

          ————————————-

Me: Are there any studies of the effect of attractiveness on perceived social skill and social intelligence?

          > Yes, there have been studies on the relationship between physical attractiveness and perceived social skills and intelligence. One study found that physically attractive individuals were rated as having better social skills and being more socially intelligent than less attractive individuals, even when the individuals were interacting in a group setting. Another study found that people tend to assume that attractive individuals are more socially skilled and intelligent than less attractive individuals, regardless of their actual abilities.

          > It’s worth noting that these perceptions can be influenced by a variety of factors, and may not always be accurate. Additionally, attractiveness is a highly subjective and culturally-dependent concept, and what one person finds attractive may not be the same as what another person finds attractive.

[Ed: Chat GPT always throws in bullshit like that on politically sensitive topics.]

Me: What are the titles and authors of these studies, so I can find them?

          > I apologize, but as a language model, I don’t have the capability to recall specific studies and their authors, but I can give you some keywords and concepts to look for in order to find these studies.

          > Some keywords you might use when searching for studies on the relationship between physical attractiveness and perceived social skills and intelligence include “attractiveness bias,” “halo effect,” “beauty stereotype,” “social intelligence,” and “social skills.”

          > Additionally, you can also search for studies on the relationship between physical attractiveness and social perception or social cognition, which may provide more information on the topic.

          > You can also check some academic databases such as JSTOR, EBSCOhost, ProQuest or PsycINFO to find studies on your topic.

“Was it under this name? I apologize, I didn’t realize we had a significant chat history that I might be stepping all over.”

It was under my Saladboy Discord handle. That was a while ago. I was still into Evola, Pre-Sectarian Buddhism, and amphetamines. ~90% of what I sent you was probably worthless, so I won’t hold it against you if you don’t recall much/any of it.

“It occurs to me that if no one wants to spend any time on this, we could throw a bone to the Jolly Heretic.”

Ordinarily I wouldn’t mind looking into it, but I need to devote my efforts to making money. I’ve applied for >200 jobs over the past two weeks.

            • Neandercel says:

Speaking of which, I think the majority of these job listings are either 100% fake (MLM, sales, and real estate nonsense) or fraudulent insofar as the companies in question aren’t actually hiring. Anyway, I’m aware that this is hardly an original insight.

Anyone who claims that there’s a ‘labor shortage’ has never applied for several hundred dead-end jobs to get maybe two or three legitimate offers to scrub toilets at a Pajeet Mart for minimum wage.

            • Aeoli Pera says:

Same with the STEM shortage, the whole economy is basically fake. Cyberpunk dystopia barely does it justice.

            • Aeoli Pera says:

Looking back, our chats were pretty good. “The Jew fears the salad,” etc.

    • ShadoHand says:

      `just attractiveness?`
Define attractiveness. SMV has been weaponized, and turned into a surgical strike against everything, in the past two decades. This isnt butthurtness. Its a valid observation.

All men used to have to do was shower, wear acceptable clothes, and have a job. Now, you need edge, after edge, after edge, after special super secret game tactic to keep a one up on everyone and everything, including yourself.

This is what Social Media does to the brain.

I remember once when I was out on my daily 4-6 mile a day walk. Some total and complete stranger male on a run, blurted out at me as I walked by “You’re a four house.” This is despite me attracting an absurd amount of attention from the local college girls by just wandering around, remaining silent, and going about my daily routine. It got so bad, the local gas station tried to ban me for soliciting for talking to all the hot 18-25 year old college girls. This is despite not a single one of them making a complaint or even being freaked out by my presence.

This is why I 110% beleive, no I know, that its the males causing all these “social problems”.

    Speaking of the autism epidemic:
    https://trueataraxiaradio.wordpress.com/2023/01/22/ideal-harmonic-distortion-for-music-production/

Reading this one should be naturally skeptical, as there is a little grandiosity and just a bit of smugness (tho not at anyone’s expense). But it actually really is that good :)
And Ive been sitting on it for months and months (I know nobody else cares about this I just want to share my one autistic thing besides all the other ones)

But I’ll put out some music at some point to demonstrate more concretely. Alternatively, if anyone around here likes to mess around with audio, I couldn’t recommend trying what I outlined above more strongly, even on a song you already really like.

    • ShadoHand says:

      `autism epidemic`
There is no Autism Epidemc. Theres a Death Cult known as Psychiatry branding everyone, including children, that dont have two cars, a house in the suburbs or country, and a $100,000USD+ job a year as Autistic. Oh and defending the Narcs, who dont want the Smart person to be better than them.
