A large head and a masculine brain would give high spatial skill. This is the what the Mousterian kind is: high prenatal testosterone, and racially an Upper Paleolithic survivor reduced by foetalisation. I do not see why they should be named after Neanderthals.
I am not against the naming of this kind, I think it would be more right to name them after a Cro-Magnon culture like the Aurignacian, or the Magdalenian.
