The Manichean dialectic

The Manichean dialectic is my term for a common social engineering technique used to shift cultural values. The name and concept are inspired by the Manichean heresy and Hegelian dialectic. It exploits pre-existing dual-axis political cycles like the Pyrrhic cycle which are fated to continual realignments, and often induces large-scale disasters, wars, and mass die-offs.

To begin with, consider the common use of Hegelian dialectic as a political hack by an elite political class. The class is split into a thesis and antithesis, Democrats and Republicans in America, who apparently hold contradictory views. However, they secretly agree on the things they care about, immigration policy and Israel, while making a fuss over dramatic issues they don’t care about like abortion and education. The differences become irrelevant over time as the effects of the unopposed synthesis grow to dominate. In the layman’s idiom, “the only time Democrats and Republicans will work together is when it’s to stab Americans in the back”.

However, a situation like this is unstable because the nature of social engineering is to disempower and discomfort other potential political actors, which has the effect of provoking a realignment. The election of Donald Trump was a fantastic example, where right-wingers shifted from lawful good to lawful evil and left-wingers shifted from lawful evil to chaotic evil. This indicates we are in the Age of Decadence in the figure below, with the Alt-Right occupying the bottom-left position, Antifa occupying the bottom-right position, and normies occupying the middle between them (and shifted slightly upward toward the center).

In order for a long-term cultural shift to occur, the synthesis must survive the realignment. In the modern scenario, the common elements between the Alt-Right and Antifa is irreligiosity (measured by religious attendance) and a realignment from the Liberty-Oppression moral axis to the Care-Harm moral axis (Who? Whom?), and socialism by extension. Hopefully this helps you to understand my recent insistence on charity, and my rage against the new religion of race which is a perversion of the natural order. This is where the Manichean dialectic shines: it exploits a dynamic bait-and-switch. The moral axes will shift again, but the new religious value will remain and we will be that much closer to the revival of Zodiacism.

Mathematically, the two-axis dialectic may be compared to a conical helix.

The x and y factors diminish in importance as t increases and the system approaches the synthesis along the z-axis. This hack relies on the tendency of human politics to binary thinking and thus can exploit any dual feedback system, with the Pyrrhic cycle being only one example, by Framing the opposing elements and common element into existence. Preach to schoolchildren long enough and loud enough that left-right means Communist-Nazi, and pretty soon everybody’s going to agree on socialism but disagree about whether Jews or Aryans should be on top.

Another good example you may consider is the increasing narcissism in men and women, and the “invade the world, invite the world” paradox. As I’ve previously explained, globalism is the psychological manifestation of the narcissistic urge to weaken the distinctions between humans. But the masculine impulse is to push through the other’s boundaries whereas the feminine impulse is to pull the other through the boundaries. They disagree on invading versus inviting but they agree on the need to cross boundaries, i.e. globalism. Therefore, we expect that the Manichean dialectic preferred by globalists has been to support any development that increases narcissism.

I’ve noticed several symbolic representations of this in philosophy, art, and culture. The yin-yang symbol stands out as the most obvious, and by extension Cancer in astrology (and probably hermetic Zodiacism).

In art I’ve noticed this idea is often represented aesthetically by a vortex.
